Store: A spacious store, rectangular shape, with a wraparound customer service area. Local news playing on the TV, high-quality signage handwritten with food drawings. Strong deli case game, extensive drink selection. Beer for purchase in the fridges, which is very unusual for a bagel place. Fast, attentive service. Has the space allotment and set-up of a classic Queens/Long Island bagel establishment. Perhaps the best balance of deli and bagel store I've yet seen, with neither side coming at the other's expense. 4.5

Bagel: Large bagel. Served warm and fresh. Only a dusting of toppings on either side with very light salt crystals. This is not a detriment as the dough's freshness is allowed to take center stage. It's of the soft variety, crackly with a lightly browned shell. A very strong bagel. 4.25

Cream Cheese: Served warm from the bagel. Nice scallion texture - small pieces but not too stringy. Excellent quantity and evenly applied. Fresh with no overcheese to speak of. Vegetal flavor in all the good ways. An excellent compliment to the soft bagel experience. 4.25
