Store: Large main storefront area with all the standard appliances: deli case, drink refrigeration, bagel hoppers, etc. All well situated but not with impressing the customer in mind. There's an unusual aisle that's also the hallway of an apartment building to the left of the main room that has one shelf of goods and that's it. Very confusing use of space and fascinating as a consequence. Definitely the most interesting thing about the establishment, but all the fundamentals were solid, including a whip quick staff. 4

Bagel: A large bagel with light toppings up top and moderate on bottom. Neither side played much into the bagel flavor. A grainy taste, likely influenced by the time of day. As a consequence I'll grade on a curve, knowing it's not their fault I'm looking for a PM bagel. From this perspective, it's clearly above the supermarket average. 3.5

Cream Cheese: Served cold, adequate bagel coverage. Finer scallion chop, decidedly cheesy. Had some crossover from a sweet pepper spread, an unwelcome addition. Unremarkable otherwise. 3.25
