Store: (Reviewed on livestream via Urbanist. Watch the replay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZvpbfHyD-k&feature=share&si=ELPmzJkDCLju2KnD5oyZMQ&t=2277) A roughly square-shaped store with all the standard corner store offerings. Strangely no music playing overhead. Essentially a bodega bagel with some bagel store amenities: bagel hoppers and a small-to-modest selection of cream cheeses with some thought given to display. I would be very surprised if the bagels were made in shop, as there doesn't appear to be the space available. 3.25
Bagel: Medium-large bagel, served past fresh but not old. Irregular shape with no central hole. Standard toppings applied on one-side at average density. Limited salt crystals visible but saltiness apparent on bite. Exists in the realm between doughy and chewy, not presenting the best features of either bite profile. The foil wrapping gives it away: served best toasted. 3.25
Cream Cheese: Served at room temperature, with no heat activation from the bagel. Decent amount of spread applied uniformly. Fairly chunky scallion but either not much present or slightly wilted, as not much crunch added. Overcheese is evident, and texture is generally too uniform. Seems like it might be a premade scallion spread. The care that was given to in store presentation keeps things out of the red. 3
