Store: Fits into the "one stop kosher shop" classification of bagel stores, offering, bagels, pizza, pasta and heroes. Good layout inside with nice signage and some seating options. Small drink selection, decent pastry offerings. Responsive, quick staff. A solid but unspectacular purchase experience. 3.5
Bagel: We've finally arrived: the other side of the rainbow. I did not know this bagel would be square going into the experience. I've never encountered a square bagel before. I'm going with my gut on this one and granting points for novelty rather than deducting for heresy. As for the usual metrics: medium-large size, two-sided standard toppings at strong density. Lack of impactful salt contribution but not completely devoid of it. The softness of the bagel is admirable. Ultimately, the most compelling element of the bagel is its shape. If the uniqueness of the square is enough to rope you in, I'd recommend toasting for this particular bagel. 3.5
Cream Cheese: Served deli case cool. Decent amount and even on application though a little messy. A thick spread, and not in a good way. Lacks that sensation of bagel store freshness. Not much scallion play in the flavor or texture. As above, toasting warmth could probably help things here. 3
