Store: A steamed-in feel to the store. Nice bagel name plates on the hoppers: plastic wood grain like a white-collar professional from the 60's might have. I managed to get the attention of the staff, order a bagel, and pay without having a single word spoken to me. So-so pastry and drink selection; same for deli salads and spreads. Amenities and experience average out on this one, but a high-character store experience overall. 4
Bagel: A big and tall boy. Large, one-sided toppings - standard G(arlic)/P(oppy)/S(esame) plus salt. Decent topping density and salt ratio, however the salt doesn't play as much as it's presence would indicate. A stiffer chew, but not from lack of freshness. Not much wow factor here, but solid. 3.75
Cream Cheese: Served at a neutral temp from the bagel warmth. Good quantity but somewhat carelessly applied. Nice big scallion chunks decently mixed into the spread. Fresh with just a passing glance of overcheese. 3.75
