Store: A long, deep storefront. Contemporary Top 40 plays overhead. A fun, Instagrammable display of lacquered bagels take up the entryway wall. The spread displays and prep stations sit up front, with lots of table seating - plus bathrooms - in back. A small set of stairs splits the two sections, with customers ordering at the register up top. When filled with patrons lined up to order it's likely clear where to go, but later in the day when less people are in the shop it's a bit confusing, as one would assume you order near where the food is. Very friendly staff, very quick order fulfillment. As an aside, the review I wrote for Liberty's Midtown location is printed out and sitting in the shop window, which was personally nice to see. 4.25
Bagel: A large bagel. Double sided, dense topping of standard variety. Salt visibly present but less apparent on taste. A heartier chew type compared to its Midtown cousin, but no less enjoyable. 4.25
Cream Cheese: Served deli case cool. Overly generous application but even coverage. Dairy neutral, with huge, green scallion chunks. Liberty's first class spread game travels well between locations. Having now tried their sweet spreads many times, they're worth the adventure. 4.5
