Store: A large, wraparound space. Lots of natural lighting, interior and exterior seating, with decorations up for Easter. Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays on the radio. There's an electronic ordering system that seems a little convoluted at lower customer count but it's easy to project the value at scale. A huge variety of offerings beyond bagels as befits the bakery aspect. Bathroom access, which is always a nice bagel store perk. A cozy environment overall, if not exactly classic bagel store trappings. 4.25
Bagel: A smaller bagel with a small central hole. Served lightly toasted despite my request otherwise. A fine crackle to the shell on bite, likely from the toasting. Standard toppings on each side, no salt crystals visually present and not much salt taste. 3.5
Cream Cheese: Served warm from the toasting. A chive spread instead of scallion, as scallion is not an available option. A milder onion flavor as a result. Diary neutral, good application and even amount. Pleasing visually in it's dark green, confetti-like distribution throughout the spread. 3.75
