Store: A modern store, white tile contemporary. It's a long location split evenly between customer area and seamless prep station. Bustling staff take orders and fill them for you, handing them back for payment at the register. Queen and Bowie's "Pressure" plays on the radio. Attention to detail is evidenced in their spread display. A moderate pastry selection with nothing plastic wrapped. They were all out of regular everything bagels by 1:30 PM on a busy Sunday. A little surprising for a store with seemingly such a high turnover making that decision. Hungover customers, you've been warned. 4
Bagel: A medium-large bagel with an impression for a central hole. Not hot but fresh, doughy. Moderate to light topping density, standard plus oat. A light dusting on the bottom suggests it's dual-sided toppings but it's not entirely clear. Strong ratio of salt in the topping composition, making positive visual and taste contributions. Not exceptional, but very solid. 4
Cream Cheese: Served room temperature. Smooth spread with no clumping. Good visual representation of scallion but not much texture contribution. Generous amount, even coverage. A well-honed spread. 4
