Store: Aims for a classic aesthetic and mostly succeeds. Signage projects a sense of bounty, deli casing breaks up the smaller space well. It feels like everything has its place. Moderate pastry and drink selection. All that said, the interior space lacks some of the charismatic intangibles to really drive up the score. Staff is pleasant enough but not engaging. The exterior neon sign of a man flexing his muscle into a bagel shape is top notch. Not worth coming specifically for the space, but the intention is appreciated. 3.75

Bagel: A large bagel but not dense. Big center hole. Standard toppings plus oat with good coverage. Not very salty in flavoring. An end of the day bagel, not fresh. Difficult to overcome this deficiency, but the fundamentals seem there. 3.5

Cream Cheese: Served on the warmer, more fluid side. A yogurt-trending spread, which is always an interesting change of pace. Good amount but very messy application. Scallion doesn't make much of a play here. Worth remembering for uniqueness but not flavor. 3.5
