Store: Immediately clear this is more deli than bagel store. A long, rectangular shop. Poor layout with no discernable order system. Shelves sit in front of the middle of the deli case, perhaps to create a 'wall' between the cash register and the sandwich prep section. It only serves to make customers wait in between the two areas wondering where they need to stand to be served. Three staff work behind the counter somewhat frantically but also without purpose. People wander in for coffee and leave served. Entertainment news plays on the TV. I wait almost ten minutes and as I'm leaving the cashier urgently shouts me down to ask what I want. My order is fulfilled within 15 seconds. 1.75

Bagel: A large bagel with toppings on one side only. It's a dense representation of garlic, sesame and poppy. No salt crystals are present but it possesses the salty, baked on brine that is the hallmark average, salvageable bagels. Not fresh tasting but soft. Saved by the brine. 2.25

Cream Cheese: Served deli case cold. Big scallion pieces but infrequent. More visually present than a taste impact. Solid, thick and uniform, as though cut from cream cheese clay with a wire. 2.25
